Owner, developer and entrepreneur, Edward Kaen established the Keating Hotel Group (KHG) in 2006, to fully execute his vision of capturing the potential of San Diego as a world class metropolitan destination. In 2005, Kaen joined forces with Pininfarina to establish the Keating Hotel project. The Keating was his first hotel venture, which brought excitement, a new level of sophistication to San Diego.
Each limited-edition Keating Hotel rides the advantageous and ever-expanding wave of acclaim and publicity that comes with KHG's exclusive licensing agreement with Pininfarina. Each property and its furnishings will be exclusively designed by Pininfarina, which trademark has recently joined the exclusive ranks of brands valued at over$1 billion.
With each new Keating Hotel by Pininfarina, the common vision is to turn a uniquely-situated location into a fully functional lifestyle landmark. We aim to redefine full-service hospitality industry through cutting-edge design, exceptional personalized service and distinct local cultural elements.
