Designed by Pininfarina, the infamous car design company behind the famous wheels Ferrari and Maserati, this gorgeous boutique hotel is extraordinarly different. Centrally located in the "Gaslamp" district, The Keating mixes a new age city style with old Italian class.
The hotel has 35 "stanzas" a.k.a rooms painted in bold reds, bathrooms that inflect sky blue tones, and custom designed mahogany furniture and stainless steel accents. The feather beds are covered with goose down duvet comforters and Frette Egyptian Cotton Linens. Your plush designer bath robe awaits you, so you can comfortably surf the web with complimentary high speed wireless, and while you’re at it, brew some professional espresso with your LavAzza espresso machine. Many describe The Keating as a diamond in the rough, from the outside the hotel’s enchantments are unseen, but upon entry one quickly spots the glitz and comfort this hotel evokes.
The trendy Keating has a well known lounge within the hotel once called "Minus 1 Lounge," and today known as "Sway Lounge." The interior of the lounge consists of smooth leather couches, low ceilings, and red lights.
Sway lounge is uber exclusive bringing in only the high rollers and celebrity guests. Sway has quickly become one of San Diego’s most wanted late night party spots.
The Keating is a relaxing retreat- don’t forget to hang out in your outdoor lounge and take a dip in the Maserati of jacuzzi’s in your own room!
