San Diego Pride Weekend 2019 is upon us on July 13 – 14th, 2019 with the She Fest Event taking place on July 6th, 2019 here in San Diego.
San Diego Pride is the nonprofit organization who will be sponsoring and producing the main events of San Diego Pride Weekend 2019 including She Fest – see below for details. San Diego Pride focuses on issues involving the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community.
There are many fun, informative and exciting celebrations, parties, events, taking place the weeks before and during San Diego Pride Weekend, and oh yeah, a parade with over 250,000 participants and spectators!
Here are the highlights of the most popular events for San Diego Pride Weekend 2019:
Event: She Fest
When: Saturday, July 6, 2019 – 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Where: North Park Community Park, 4044 Idaho Street, San Diego, CA 92104
She Fest is a great all-day women focused event that celebrates the talents of women within the LGBT community and throughout. The goal is for everyone at She Fest to feel included and represented; transgender women, nonbinary people, intersex people, and gender non-conforming folks.
Event: The Stonewall Rally
When: Friday, July 12, 2019 – 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Where: Hillcrest Pride Flag
Kick-off San Diego Pride Weekend as we listen to inspiring speakers, recognize LGBTQ leaders and raise the Pride flag. San Diego’s first Stonewall Rally took place in 1975 to recognize and honor the people who continue to work and make progress against the challenges faced by members of the LGBTQ community.
Event: Pride 5K Run/Walk
When: Saturday, July 13, 2019 – 8 a.m.
Where: The race starts and finishes at University Ave. at Center Street
The activities for this great and fun 5K Run/Walk begins at 7 a.m., with the preferred sponsors of the event. The warm-up and stretch also begins at 7 a.m. and will be led by a Lululemon Ambassador.
Runners and walkers will take the same route as the Pride Parade that begins later in the day. The Run/Walk route begins and finishes at University Avenue and Center Street. Show your PRIDE with Rainbow wear, streamers, fancy hats and join in on the fun of running, walking or encouraging others who do!

Event: The Parade
When: Saturday July 13, 2019 – 10 a.m.
Where: The Pride Parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Ave.
San Diego’s Pride Parade is the largest single day civic event in the region and is among the largest Pride Parades in the U.S., with over 250,000 cheering supporters of LGBTQ community.
Come and enjoy the colorful floats, entertainers, music and fun and celebrate the LGBTQ Community on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. and show your support!
The Pride Parade route begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Ave. and Normal St., proceeds west on University Ave., turns south on 6th Ave., turns left onto Balboa Dr. and ends at Quince Dr.
